Willis “Joe” Lambert, 76, of Oklahoma City, died Sunday, October 7, 2012 at his home. The son of George Cecil and Elois (Lorance) Lambert, he was born February 24, 1936 in Hydro, Oklahoma. Joe served in the U.S. Air Force and then worked for many years in the parts department at Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement. In his spare time, Joe enjoyed exercise and physical fitness, but his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Billy Ray Lambert and George Lynn Lambert; one sister, Fay Seibel; and one granddaughter, Rachel M’Shale Lambert. He is survived by two sons, Terry Bussey and daughter-in-law, Becky of Blanchard, and Willis Joe Lambert, II of Davis; three grandchildren, Allison, Hailey, and Isaac; three sisters, Rowena Curren of Blanchard, Charlene Curren of Blanchard, and Roxie Thomason of Edmond; two brothers, Ron Lambert of Newcastle, and Tim Lambert and wife Gina of Blanchard; several nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral service will be at 2:00PM, Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Trinity Holiness Church in Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.
